Barry Camp, LPC

Barry is Licensed Professional Counselor who is licensed to practice in the State of Alabama. Barry provides services face-to-face and via telemedicine. 

Barry received his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Jacksonville State University with a minor in Corrections and a concentration in Forensic Science. He received his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CACREP) from Liberty University. 

Barry has been providing counseling services since 2021. He has experience with children, families, anxiety, depression, substance abuse/addiction, couples/marriage, career counseling, and grief. 

 Barry uses the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help his patients achieve their goals by helping the patient identify negative cognitive patterns and gain a better understanding of how their thoughts influence their behaviors. Barry strives to provide an environment where the patient and counselor work together to achieve patient goals. 

Barry also provides biblical based counseling services for those seeking it. He works with the patient to integrate biblical principles with the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to provide the patient with a perspective of how their thoughts influence their behaviors and how biblical principles can help provide restoration and healing.
